ÖZGÜR TARIM A.Ş. is one of the leading exporters of Dried Turkish Vine Fruits. The owners of the business the Özgür Family have been in the business for the passed 20 years, firstly as traders and after many years of intensive trading as processors and packers. In 2003, as part of a major investment programme, we built a brand new factory in the heart of the largest growing area at Saruhanlı, approximately 1 hour drive to İzmir.

The new factory has been built to the very highest standards that you would expect from a modern food processing facility. Moreover, we are accrediated to ISO 9001:2000, HACCP and BRC and this is an honour of us that we are approved by many of the largest food manufacturers accross Europe.

As part of our quality procedures, we have a full control of the product from field to delivery. As part of this system, we carry out physical, chemical and microbiological analyses at all required stages of the process. Our technical team is fully trained and updated in food processing procedures and controls and as well as legislative requirements.

Our factory is equipped with the latest processing technology, including two Cascade washers in line for genuine double washing, four Laser Scanners and X-ray Scanner to enable us to produce highest qualities. All the machinery is manufactured from food grade stainless steel.

Moreover, added to function of the natural magnet on the washing cascades, the final product is metal detected by high sensitive Metal Detectors installed at the end of each lines.

We source our material from growers that we have worked with over many years. They are concious of our technical needs regarding sustainable farming. We have set contracts with the growers in order to trace the products from the farm through on shelf.
